Male Breast Reduction – Gynecomastia

Male Breast Reduction, medical called Gynecomastia treatment,  is a procedure performed to remove excess breast tissue on a man’s chest. Typically, the procedure involves a direct excision of the tissue. However, in some cases, the procedure may be performed using liposuction. If incision is necessary, it is usually made on the underside of the areola.

Gynecomastia is performed in our surgical facility under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. At the time of your consultation, the sedation method will be determined depending on technique recommended. Recovery from male breast reduction is usually one to two weeks to reveal a refined appearance and minor swelling may last for a couple of months following male breast reduction surgery.
